Tow n Go raises the GT HEMI’s properly equipped maximum towing rating from 7,200 to 8,700 lbs. The package brings wider 20 x 10.0-inch wheels, Brembo brakes, adaptive damping and an electronic limited-slip rear axle. Its Class IV hitch and integrated trailer brake controller are part of the towing equipment.
The 5.7L HEMI accepts 87-octane gasoline, with 89 octane recommended for performance and fuel economy. The 6.4L HEMI and supercharged 6.2L require premium gasoline of 91 octane or higher. Their EPA combined ratings are 17, 15 and 13 MPG respectively, so each engine has its own fuel requirements.
The retail V8 lineup has a 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 navigation touchscreen. Compatible phones connect through wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and up to five profiles preserve individual settings. The sound system is a separate trim feature, with Alpine audio in several models and Harman Kardon audio in the Premium trims.

R/T 392 Premium combines the 475-hp 6.4L HEMI with Harman Kardon’s 19-speaker system, an 825-watt amplifier, suede headliner and forged carbon-fiber accents. Its standard-feature list also includes Brembo brakes with two-piece front rotors. The starting MSRP is $58,345, before destination and selected options.
Jailbreak and SRT Hellcat share the same 710 hp and 645 lb-ft of torque. Jailbreak expands personalization instead, including seat, wheel, brake-caliper and seatbelt choices. It starts $995 above SRT Hellcat’s base MSRP, with selected colors and equipment contributing to the price of the individual vehicle.
Tow n Go is available within the GT HEMI family, including its equipment-level choices. It brings the properly equipped maximum to 8,700 lbs and adds its performance chassis hardware. Premium’s cabin includes the 19-speaker Harman Kardon system, suede headliner and carbon-fiber accents around the 360-hp 5.7L engine.
The schedules differ. For a GT HEMI, service is due by 7,500 miles, a year or 350 engine hours at the latest, and the oil-life indicator can request it sooner. The 6.4L and supercharged 6.2L must not exceed 6,000 miles or six months. All use an oil-life indicator that can request service before the maximum interval.
The supercharged 6.2L HEMI holds 8.3 US quarts with its oil filter and uses SAE 0W-40 full synthetic meeting MS-12633. The 6.4L uses the same grade but holds 7 quarts. Those different quantities make the engine identification part of every oil-and-filter service, even within the performance lineup.
The Basic Limited Warranty is 3 years or 36,000 miles, and the Powertrain Limited Warranty is 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first.
