The 2027 Ram 1500 is a full-size half-ton pickup offered in thirteen trims, from the Tradesman at a $42,375 starting MSRP to the TRX SRT at $99,995 and the new Rumble Bee range opening at $59,995. Four gas engines carry the lineup: the 305-horsepower 3.6L Pentastar V6, the 3.0L Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six in Standard-Output and High-Output form at 420 and 540 horsepower, and the 395-horsepower 5.7L HEMI V8, with a supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 in the halo trucks. Properly equipped it tows up to 11,530 lbs or carries up to 2,340 pounds. Premier Cape Cod sells and services the range in Hyannis, minutes from the Nantucket and Vineyard ferry terminals, for buyers across Falmouth, Plymouth, Barnstable and the South Shore.
The headline change for 2027 is the Rumble Bee, a four-model widebody Quad Cab range on a wheelbase 13 inches shorter than a standard Ram 1500 Quad Cab, with orders already open on the 5.7L HEMI V8 version. Higher in the range, the Tungsten carries the richest cabin in the lineup and a Class-Exclusive Four-Corner Active-Level air suspension is available across much of it. One number worth knowing before you shop: at 81.2 inches across the mirrors, a Crew Cab is wider than a standard single garage opening, which is worth checking before a summer weekend of towing over the Sagamore Bridge.
