The 2026 Jeep Recon is a five-seat electric SUV built on the STLA-Large unibody platform, sold in one trim, the Moab, at an MSRP of $66,995 including destination. Two 250 kW electric drive modules, one per axle, produce 650 horsepower and 620 lb-ft through full-time active four-wheel drive, drawing on a 400-volt, 100.5-kWh battery. It is the only fully electric vehicle Jeep has made Trail Rated, with 9.1 inches of ground clearance, a standard rear electronic locking differential and 33-inch all-terrain tires, and it is the only fully electric utility vehicle whose doors, rear-quarter glass and swing gate glass are all designed to come off.
Being new for 2026, it arrives in limited quantities and with two option packages and an available Sky One-Touch Power Top as the whole configuration decision. The specification worth knowing before anything else is the transfer case: it is single-speed, so there is no low range. On a peninsula where the ground is sand, salt and grade rather than rock, that trade lands differently than it would elsewhere, which is what most of these pages are about.
