Range is the practical read on those numbers. A 13.5-gallon tank at 26 combined is a little over 350 miles, which covers a week of Barnstable errands, or a run up to Plymouth and back on the same tank. Most Cape Cod driving never troubles the second half of it. A Falmouth commuter will see the city figure more often than the highway one, because the Route 28 lights and the bridge approaches are where the stop-start actually lives, while a Marion or Plymouth commute is steadier and stretches the interval between fills. That combination is what lets the car turn around on a two-lane without a three-point and slot into an angled space on Route 132 or along Route 28 that a mid-size SUV has to pass. It is also meaningfully shorter than a Cherokee, which is often the difference between the garage door closing and not.
