Every other configuration adds to the same base: four-wheel drive is a $3,000 option on that car, and the long-wheelbase Grand Wagoneer L is a flat $3,000 at any level.
The Summit Reserve at $100,310, which is $36,315 above the entry car. What that money buys at the top is materials and audio rather than capability: Palermo leather with quilted registered perforation, a premium suede headliner and the 23-speaker McIntosh MX1375 Reference system. Engine, transmission, payload and maximum tow rating are identical to the $63,995 configuration.
Both answers are correct, at different layers. Jeep's engineering documents carry three model trims: Grand Wagoneer, Limited and Summit, each in short and long wheelbase. The order guide and dealer inventory carry seven priced configurations, because Upland, Altitude, Reserve and Obsidian are packages layered onto those three trims. Substantially, and this surprises returning buyers. For 2026 Stellantis folded the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer into a single nameplate, and the surviving vehicle is mechanically the former Wagoneer. Entry is now $63,995 before destination rather than six figures. If you remember this nameplate as a $100,000 vehicle, that is still where the range ends, but it is no longer where it starts.
$3,000, and the premium does not change as you move up the range. What arrives for it is trunk: the space behind row three goes from 27.9 cubic feet to 42.6. What does not arrive is any extra room for people. Head, leg, shoulder and hip measurements match in both bodies at all three rows, third-row legroom included at 36.6 inches, so buy the L for luggage or do not buy it.
Quick, though the number circulating online describes a different vehicle. The low-five-second zero-to-sixty repeated across older write-ups belongs to the discontinued 510-horsepower High Output engine, which is not part of the 2026 lineup. The car you can actually buy makes 420 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 468 lb-ft at 3,500 rpm, and that low torque peak is the part you feel: it moves a 6,000-pound vehicle without needing revs, which reads as effortless rather than fast.
No. For 2026 there is no V8 anywhere in the lineup. Every configuration runs the 3.0-liter Hurricane Twin Turbo, a twin-turbocharged inline six-cylinder with direct injection, making 420 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 468 lb-ft at 3,500 rpm. It carries a maximum tow rating of 10,000 lbs on a conventional hitch on the 4x4 short-wheelbase build, properly equipped, which is the job a V8 would have been bought for.
Twin turbocharged, with direct injection, from 183 cubic inches or 2,993 cc. Bore and stroke are 3.31 by 3.54 inches and compression is 10.4:1. Two turbochargers on a straight six is what produces 468 lb-ft down at 3,500 rpm, and the inline layout is inherently better balanced than a V-configuration, which is a large part of why the cabin stays quiet at a cruise.
It depends on drivetrain. In rear-wheel drive the L returns 17 city / 24 highway / 19 combined, identical to the short-wheelbase car, so the longer body costs nothing at the pump in that configuration. In four-wheel drive it rates 16 / 22 / 18. Ratings are published at fueleconomy.gov, and the L carries a 30.5-gallon tank against 26.5 gallons on the short wheelbase.
In rear-wheel drive on the standard 3.55 axle, 6,210 lbs. In four-wheel drive on the same axle, 6,030 lbs, because four-wheel-drive hardware adds weight that comes out of the trailer allowance. Add the Heavy-duty Trailer Tow package, which requires four-wheel drive and brings the 3.92 axle, and that same base car is rated 10,000 lbs on a conventional hitch, properly equipped.
Twelve inches, running Uconnect 5C NAV, and it is standard on every configuration including the $63,995 base car. There is no small-screen entry model in this lineup. Alongside it the driver gets a reconfigurable cluster, 10.25 inches on Grand Wagoneer and Limited, stepping to 12.3 inches as standard on Summit and available on Limited. Jeep totals all the available displays as up to 75 inches of screen space.
Yes, available on Limited and standard on Summit. It is not offered on the base Grand Wagoneer. If a head-up display is on your list, the cheapest route is a Limited with it optioned rather than stepping up to a Summit configuration for it, and the same logic applies to the 12.3-inch cluster and the McIntosh MX950 audio system.
A rear-facing camera that lets the driver see the back rows on the center screen without turning around. Jeep's Dual-View Rear-Facing FamCAM adds night vision, zoom and a split view, and the company markets it as class-exclusive. It is standard on Summit and available on additional trims. For anyone running rear-facing car seats it is worth prioritizing over screen upgrades.
Mostly yes, with one result to weigh. LATCH ease of use rates Good at IIHS, the standard suite includes Pedestrian and Cyclist Emergency Braking on every configuration, and FamCAM helps you watch the back rows. But the updated moderate overlap front test rates Marginal, driven by rear-passenger chest performance, and seat belt reminders also rate Marginal. The four-wheel-drive Grand Wagoneer at $66,995, particularly with the Heavy-duty Trailer Tow package added. It carries the same 420-horsepower engine, the same 12-inch touchscreen, and the same seven or eight seats as configurations costing $30,000 more, and the tow package is what raises the tow rating. Payload does vary with configuration, from 1,415 to 1,625 pounds.
Skid plates for the fuel tank, transfer case and front axle, plus 275/55R20 Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires. Jeep codes the skid plates to the short-wheelbase Grand Wagoneer. At $73,060 it sits $1,000 above Limited Altitude, but it is not a step above it: Upland is built on the base trim and keeps Capri leather, spending that thousand under the vehicle instead of inside it.

Both are Summit configurations with Quadra-Lift air suspension, the tri-pane panoramic sunroof, the 12.3-inch cluster, 24-way front seats and the 19-speaker McIntosh MX950. Quadra-Lift air suspension with semi-active damping is standard on Summit. It is the only chassis upgrade available anywhere in the range, and it is what takes ground clearance from 7.4 inches on the standard coil suspension to 10.1 inches in the Off Road 2 setting, measured on the 275/55R20 tire. It also lets the vehicle kneel in Park, dropping the load floor from 34.0 to 32.5 inches.

Fuel grade helps: mid-grade 89 is recommended and regular 87 is acceptable, and the EPA certified all four configurations on regular, so this is not a premium-fuel vehicle. Oil volume is 7.5 quarts of a specified synthetic. Wheel diameter runs from 18 to 22 inches depending on configuration, and replacement cost scales with it. And how you use it matters: towing shortens oil intervals and brings axle fluid changes forward.

No. There is no complimentary scheduled maintenance program for 2026 Jeep vehicles, so budget for servicing from the first visit rather than from year two.
