There is no fixed oil interval on this vehicle. A monitor decides, inside a 10,000-mile ceiling, and almost everything else hangs off that call. Here is the whole schedule, the 3/36 and 5/60 warranty terms, and the one job the manual does not list that matters most here.
Owners arriving from a car with a fixed service interval tend to ask when the first oil change is due, and this vehicle has no clean answer. Jeep does not run the 2026 Grand Wagoneer on a mileage schedule. An oil change indicator watches how the engine has actually been used and calls the service when the engine has earned it, which means a vehicle that spends its life towing gets called sooner than one that commutes.

Note what is missing from that table: a fixed tire rotation mileage. Jeep publishes none for 2026, so any page quoting you a set rotation figure for this vehicle is applying a rule the manufacturer did not write.
The indicator decides, but it does not have unlimited authority. Three ceilings sit above it, and whichever arrives first governs:

That third line is the one nobody expects, and it is the reason a low-mileage vehicle can still call for oil. Run hours accumulate whenever the engine is running, including the stationary idling that a summer traffic queue produces in quantity. A vehicle that covers modest annual mileage but spends a lot of it not moving can reach 350 hours well before it reaches 10,000 miles.
Towing is named by Jeep as a condition that shortens the interval, which is worth planning around if you bought this vehicle for the 10,000 lb rating on the properly equipped 4x4 short-wheelbase build. Expect the indicator to arrive sooner in a towing season than a commuting one.

One footnote on the plugs that catches people who drive very little: the spark plug change interval is mileage-based only, and the yearly intervals do not apply to it. A vehicle at 40,000 miles after eight years is not due plugs on time served.
Tires. Rotation rides on the oil service rather than a mileage figure, with one override worth remembering: rotate at the first sign of irregular wear even if the indicator has not lit. On the 22-inch fitments that the upper configurations wear, uneven wear is expensive to ignore.
Brakes. They get looked at whenever the oil is done, then formally at the 30,000 and 60,000-mile stops. One coverage detail is better learned now than at a counter: friction parts are classed as wear items, so rotors, pads, linings and drums carry the 1-year, 12,000-mile term rather than the 3-year basic warranty.
Filters. Two, on different clocks. The cabin air filter is fixed at 12,000 miles. The engine air cleaner filter is a milestone item, replaced at 30,000 and 60,000 miles.
Fluids. Axle fluid is inspected at 30,000 and 60,000 miles. Transfer case fluid is inspected at 60,000 and changed at 100,000. Coolant is the long one at 10 years or 150,000 miles.
Underbody washing. This appears on no Jeep schedule and belongs on yours, for reasons in the next section.
Honest framing first. The 2026 Grand Wagoneer is a first-year vehicle under a consolidated nameplate, and long-term reliability data for it does not exist yet. Anyone offering you a confident verdict on how this specific vehicle ages is guessing. What can be stated is what is documented.
Two NHTSA safety recall campaigns were open as of 18 July 2026. Campaign 26V326000, issued 21 May 2026, addresses a rearview camera image that can fail to appear, attributed to a front camera wiring harness that may not be properly connected. Campaign 26V414000, issued 30 June 2026, concerns brake system control module software where electronic stability control and electronic brake assist may be lost. The other reliability factor here is not model-specific and it is the one that actually decides how a vehicle ages on this peninsula. Road salt runs from the first storm through spring, and salt air works on an undercarriage year-round whether or not the vehicle ever sees a treated road. Add sand from a summer of beach parking and you have a corrosion environment that inland owners simply do not face. Rinsing the underbody, not just the paint, is the highest-value unscheduled thing a Cape Cod owner can do, and it matters most on a vehicle that also tows, because trailer wiring connectors and the hitch corrode first.
