2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer for Sale

A 420-horsepower Hurricane twin-turbo six, up to 10,000 lbs of conventional towing on the 4x4 short-wheelbase build when properly equipped, and three rows that seat up to eight. Here is the full 2026 Grand Wagoneer lineup, what each configuration costs, and which one fits how you actually drive out here.

2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer full-size SUV exterior front three-quarter view

The 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer starts at $63,995 for the rear-wheel-drive base configuration, makes 420 horsepower and 468 lb-ft from a single Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six, and tows up to 10,000 lbs on a conventional hitch when it is properly equipped. It seats seven on second-row captain's chairs, or eight with the available bench, and the long-wheelbase Grand Wagoneer L stretches to 228.1 inches for families who need the cargo floor behind the third row rather than more legroom in it. For a household running two bridges' worth of summer traffic and a boat trailer to Bass River on the weekend, it is the one Jeep that does all of it in the same vehicle.

We stock the Grand Wagoneer in both wheelbases, and this page is the plain version of the lineup: every engine and drivetrain figure, all seven purchasable configurations with their starting prices, what the cabin technology actually includes at each level, and an honest read on which one to buy. Prices below exclude the $2,795 destination charge; check live inventory for current figures on the vehicles we have on the ground.

2026 Grand Wagoneer Engines and Powertrain Options

There is one engine, and it is the same one from the base configuration to the six-figure Summit Reserve. That is worth saying plainly, because prior-year Grand Wagoneers offered a second, more powerful version and a lot of third-party copy still describes it. For 2026 there is no high-output engine and no V8 in this lineup.

3.0L Hurricane Twin Turbo Inline-Six

Peak output lands at 420 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 468 lb-ft of torque at 3,500 rpm, from three litres, two turbochargers and direct injection. The six cylinders sit in a line rather than a vee, and that layout is a good part of why the thing feels unhurried and free of vibration when it is dragging a loaded trailer up onto the Sagamore Bridge. Every configuration pairs it with a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic with a wide 8.6 overall ratio spread.

Fuel is worth a sentence because it is commonly reported wrong: Jeep's specification sheet lists mid-grade 89 octane as recommended and regular 87 octane as acceptable. This is not an engine that requires premium.

Drivetrains and Four-Wheel Drive

The base Grand Wagoneer is rear-wheel drive, with four-wheel drive a $3,000 option. Limited Altitude and Summit Obsidian are offered in four-wheel drive only. The standard transfer case is a single-speed full-time system with Auto, Tow, Snow, Mud, Sand and Sport modes and no low range; a two-speed transfer case is optional and adds Rock mode plus a 2.64 low-range ratio. A limited-slip rear differential is standard and an electronic limited-slip differential is available.

Fuel Economy

EPA ratings run 17 city / 24 highway / 19 combined for the rear-drive short wheelbase, 17 / 23 / 19 with four-wheel drive, and 16 / 22 / 18 for the four-wheel-drive Grand Wagoneer L. Ratings are published at fueleconomy.gov, where you can compare configurations directly. The short wheelbase carries a 26.5-gallon tank and the L carries 30.5 gallons. Full powertrain detail lives on the engines and performance page.

2026 Grand Wagoneer Trim Lineup and Pricing

Jeep's engineering documents describe three model trims (Grand Wagoneer, Limited and Summit) with the other names layered on as appearance and equipment packages. What you actually shop, and what our inventory carries, is seven distinct configurations at seven prices. Both descriptions are true; the seven below are the ones you can order.

ConfigurationStarting MSRP

Grand Wagoneer$63,995 rear-drive
$66,995 four-wheel drive

Summit Obsidian$94,310Everything standard: air suspension, tri-pane roof, 19-speaker McIntosh
Summit Reserve$100,310Palermo leather, quilted perforation, suede headliner, 23-speaker audio

The long-wheelbase Grand Wagoneer L commands a flat $3,000 premium over the equivalent short-wheelbase configuration. MSRP excludes the $2,795 destination charge, tax, title and registration; confirm current pricing and offers on our live inventory. The trims page breaks down what each step actually buys you.

Technology and Connectivity

A 12-inch Uconnect 5C NAV touchscreen is standard on every configuration, which is unusual in this class. There is no small-screen base model here. The driver gets a 10.25-inch reconfigurable cluster on the Grand Wagoneer and Limited, stepping to 12.3 inches standard on Summit and available on Limited. Wireless Apple CarPlay support and Android Auto compatibility are included.

Above that, the screen count climbs. Summit offers a 10.25-inch Front Passenger Interactive Display, an uncommon feature that lets the passenger run navigation, the vehicle cameras or Rear Seat Entertainment on their own screen. Dual 10.1-inch rear-seat screens with HDMI and Amazon Fire TV built in are available on Limited and Summit. Jeep markets the cabin as offering up to 75 inches of total screen space. That is Jeep's figure, and the company does not publish a screen-by-screen breakdown behind it.

Three sound systems serve the range. Every configuration leaves the factory with a nine-speaker Alpine and its subwoofer. Reach Summit and a 19-speaker McIntosh MX950 is fitted as standard, which Limited buyers can also option. Above both sits the 23-speaker McIntosh MX1375 Reference, run by a 24-channel amplifier through a 12-inch dual voice coil subwoofer. The technology and safety page covers all of it in detail.

Interior and Comfort

Leather covers the seats in all seven configurations, and the grade climbs as you go: perforated Capri on the Grand Wagoneer, Nappa on Limited, premium Nappa on Summit, and quilted Palermo with a suede headliner once you reach the Summit Reserve package. The middle row arrives as captain's chairs by default, which puts the count at seven; specify the bench instead and it becomes eight.

The dimension that matters most in a three-row is third-row legroom, and the Grand Wagoneer publishes 36.6 inches of it, with 39.0 inches of headroom — 38.5 inches if the vehicle has the sunroof. That is adult-usable space rather than a jump seat, and it is identical in both wheelbases; the L's extra 12 inches of body goes entirely to the cargo floor, not to third-row passengers. Second-row legroom is 42.7 inches.

Summit adds four-zone climate control with a second-row comfort display, 24-way power front seats, and the tri-pane panoramic sunroof whose third pane sits over the third row, which is why the back of this cabin feels bright rather than closed in. Front seats are heated and ventilated across the lineup.

Towing and Payload Capability

The headline is 10,000 lbs with a conventional hitch on the 4x4 short-wheelbase build, properly equipped, but read the qualifier before the number, because it does most of the work. Three things have to be true at once: short wheelbase, four-wheel drive, and a 3.92 axle ratio that reaches you inside either the Heavy-duty Trailer Tow package or the Upland package. Miss the axle and the identical vehicle drops to 6,030 lbs. Order rear-wheel drive instead and it is 6,210 lbs. Stretch to the long-wheelbase L, keeping four-wheel drive and the 3.92 axle, and it settles at 9,860 lbs.

Properly equipped, the short wheelbase carries a 15,000-pound GCWR, or 16,500 pounds with Max Tow, and a maximum tongue weight of 820 pounds, or 981 pounds with Max Tow. Payload runs from 1,415 to 1,625 pounds depending on configuration, with the four-wheel-drive short wheelbase at 1,560. The Heavy-duty Trailer Tow package brings the two-speed transfer case, the 3.92 final drive, removable tow hooks, an electronic limited-slip differential, integrated trailer brake control, trailer light and tire-pressure monitoring, and blind-spot monitoring with trailer detection.

If you are launching at Sesuit Harbor or running a trailer down Route 6 in August, the towing capacity page lays out every configuration and what common loads actually weigh.

Off-Road Capability

Ground clearance is 7.4 inches on the standard suspension and 10.1 inches with the Quadra-Lift air suspension in its Off Road 2 setting, measured on the 275/55R20 tire. Approach, breakover and departure angles improve the same way, from 21.4, 18.6 and 21.2 degrees on the standard suspension to 25.2, 22.0 and 24.0 degrees with air suspension raised.

The Upland is the configuration built for this: it adds fuel tank, transfer case and front axle skid plates and rides on Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires. Oversand driving at Sandy Neck and the National Seashore requires a permit and is closed seasonally for shorebird nesting, so check current access with the town of Barnstable or the National Park Service before you plan around it.

Safety and Driver Assistance

Active Driving Assist is standard on every Grand Wagoneer. It is a hands-on-wheel, eyes-on-road system that centers the vehicle in its lane while managing speed and braking. It is useful on a long Route 3 run, and it is not a hands-free system. Jeep does not offer a hands-free highway system on this vehicle, and any description of it as one is wrong.

Jeep counts over 170 safety and security features across the vehicle, standard and available combined. The ones worth knowing by name divide like this:

Standard on every configurationAdaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go · Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path Detection · Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking · Pedestrian and Cyclist Emergency Braking · Active Lane Management System
AvailableIntersection Collision Assist · Traffic Sign Recognition · Drowsy Driver Detection
Optional lower down, standard on SummitParkSense Automated Park Assist · 360-degree Surround View Camera

Crash ratings exist for this model and are mixed, which is exactly why they belong in full rather than in a headline: the technology and safety page publishes every IIHS and NHTSA result, good and adverse, with links to read them at the rating bodies yourself.

Why Buy the 2026 Grand Wagoneer at Premier Cape Cod in Hyannis

Premier Cape Cod Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is at 556 Yarmouth Rd in Hyannis, off the Route 132 corridor and a straight run from either canal bridge. We stock the Grand Wagoneer in both wheelbases and can order the exact axle and package combination if the one you want is not on the lot, which matters on this vehicle more than most, because the tow rating lives in the axle.

Coastal salt air and winter road salt are hard on an undercarriage here, and a full-size SUV that spends its summers near the water earns its wash-downs. Our service department handles Grand Wagoneer maintenance with factory-trained technicians and genuine Mopar parts; the maintenance page covers intervals and what the warranty actually pays for. 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer cost?

Entry is $63,995 before the $2,795 destination charge, which buys the base car in rear-wheel drive. From there the range climbs across seven priced configurations and tops out at $100,310. Choosing the longer L body costs a flat $3,000 wherever you land on that ladder.

How much can a 2026 Grand Wagoneer tow?

Up to 10,000 lbs on a conventional hitch, 4x4 short-wheelbase build, properly equipped, which means the short wheelbase with four-wheel drive and the 3.92 axle, which comes with either the Heavy-duty Trailer Tow package or the Upland package. On the standard 3.55 axle the same vehicle is rated 6,030 lbs, so that axle is the difference between a light tow rating and the full one Jeep advertises.

Does the 2026 Grand Wagoneer have a 510-horsepower engine?

No, and any listing claiming otherwise is describing a car Jeep no longer builds. The high-output version belonged to earlier model years. For 2026 a single 420-horsepower Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six powers all seven configurations, the $63,995 one and the $100,310 one alike.

How many people does a Grand Wagoneer seat?

Seven people ride in the standard layout, which puts captain's chairs in the middle row. Swap those for the available bench and the count becomes eight. Because the third row measures 36.6 inches of legroom, grown adults fit back there, not just kids.

What is the difference between the Grand Wagoneer and the Grand Wagoneer L?

The L is 228.1 inches long on a 130-inch wheelbase against 216.1 inches on 123 inches. All of that extra length goes to cargo behind the third row, which grows from 27.9 to 42.6 cubic feet. Third-row legroom is identical at 36.6 inches in both.

Does the Grand Wagoneer require premium fuel?

No. Jeep's specification sheet lists mid-grade 89 octane as recommended and regular 87 octane as acceptable, and the EPA certified all four configurations on regular gasoline.

Is there still a regular Wagoneer for 2026?

No. For 2026 the Wagoneer nameplate was folded into the Grand Wagoneer line, so the entry price for a Grand Wagoneer now sits near where the Wagoneer used to. Every one of them wears a Jeep badge rather than a standalone Wagoneer badge.

What is the Grand Wagoneer's gas mileage?

EPA ratings are 17 city / 24 highway / 19 combined with rear-wheel drive, 17 / 23 / 19 with four-wheel drive, and 16 / 22 / 18 for the four-wheel-drive L. Figures are published at fueleconomy.gov.
